Americana is the leading multi-sector event in North America and a prime meeting place for environmental professionals to discuss technical, scientific and business topics regarding key issues in the environmental sector.
Americana is a biennial event organized since 1995 by Réseau Environnement, the largest network of environmental experts in the province of Québec.
In 2021, the 14th edition of Americana will take place from 23-25 March 2021 at the Montréal Convention Center.
The conference’s 8,000- square-meter exhibit hall will feature representatives from environmental services companies, manufacturers and distributors of equipment and instrumentation, consulting engineering firms, consulting firms, research institutes, laboratories, training centres, non-profit organizations and associations.
Most of these organizations operate in one of six key sectors: water, waste management, soil and groundwater, renewable energy, biodiversity, as well as air and climate change. Over 1000 exhibitors and 10’000 attendees are expected in total during Americana’s three days of presentations and exhibitions.
The conference program consists of more than 200 environmental-related presentations and activities covering current topics such as the circular economy, sustainable cities, innovation, and energy transition.
The program also focuses on key environmental sectors, such as water, waste management, soil and groundwater, air and climate change, and biodiversity. Presentations are given by environmental experts, researchers, technicians, managers and project leaders from Québec, Canada, Europe, Africa and South America. Through its networking events and tools, Americana facilitates meetings among actors in the environmental sector.
