In view of the COVID-19 outbreak at the beginning of 2020, which has caused restrictions and disruption worldwide, many trade fairs have since been postponed or cancelled by the fair organizers.
The following exhibitions of the SWISS Pavilion are affected:
AsiaWater 2020 originally planned from 31 March - 2 April 2020 has been rescheduled to 30 November - 2 December 2020 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC). (February 18th, 2020). AsiaWater 2020 will take place as a hybrid event (physically and virtually). (August 25th, 2020). AsiaWater 2020 has been cancelled; the trade fair will take place only virtually from 30 November - 2 December 2020. (October 8th, 2020).
IE expo China 2020 has been postponed new to 13-15 August 2020 at the SNIEC. IE expo China originally scheduled from 21-23 April 2020 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) has first been postponed to 10-12 June 2020 at the NECC in Shanghai. More information here. (April 21st, 2020).
IFAT 2020 is cancelled. The next edition is taking place from May 30 - June 3, 2022 (status on April 23, 2020). Previously, on 12th March 2020, IFAT, originally scheduled from 04-08 May 2020 at Muenchen Messegelände, has been postponed to 07-11 September 2020. More information here. (April 23th, 2020).
African Utility Week 2020 is cancelled. Originally scheduled from 12-14 May 2020 at the CTICC in Cape Town the fair has first been rescheduled to 24-26 November 2020. On 3 August 2020 the decision was made to hold the exhibition virtually on the date in November and to postpone the live exhibition until 11-13 May 2021. Find more information here. City Solutions Singapore 2020 (part of "Singapore International Water Week") originally scheduled from 6-8 July 2020 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre has been rescheduled to 21-23 June 2021. More information here. (March 20th, 2020).
RWM 2020 is cancelled. RWM originally scheduled from 16-17 September, 2020 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK has first been rescheduled to 3-4 November, 2020. The new show date for next year's edition is 22-23 September 2021 at the NEC. More information here. (August 13th, 2020).
IFAT India originally scheduled from 13-15 October, 2020 at the BEC in Mumbai has been rescheduled until further notice. (July 8th, 2020). Update: The trade fair has been cancelled in 2020. The next edition will take place from 28-30 September 2021 at the BEC. (September 12th, 2020).
WETEX 2020 originally scheduled at the new exhibition halls within the EXPO-site in Dubai, UAE from 26-28 October 2020 will now be held virtually on the same date. The next physical event is scheduled parallel to EXPO 2021 and will take place from 5-7 October 2021 at the EXPO site in Dubai. (August 12th, 2020).
Eco Expo Asia 2020 originally scheduled from 28-21 October, 2020 at AsiaWorld-Expo, HK will now be held virtually from 16-27 November 2020. (August 14th, 2020).
Waste Expo Brasil 2020, originally scheduled from 10-12 November 2020 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, has been postponed to 05-07 May 2021 at the same venue. (August, 28th, 2020).
VietWater 2020 originally planned from 11 - 13 November 2020 has been cancelled. The next edition will take place from 10 - 12 November 2021 at the Saigon Exhibition and Conference Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. (September 7th, 2020).
Water Philippines 2021 originally planned from 24 - 26 March 2021 has been postponed to 08 - 10 December 2021 at at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. (September 7th, 2020).
POLLUTEC 2020, originally scheduled from 1-4 December 2020, has been postponed to 5-8 October 2021 at Lyon Eurexpo. The event will take place virtually from 1-4 December 2020. (September 29th, 2020).
ECOMONDO 2020, originally scheduled from 3-6 November 2020 at Rimini Fiera, has been cancelled. The event will take place virtually from 3-15 November 2020. Further information is available at Ecomondo's website here. (October 26th, 2020).
SMAGUA 2021, initially scheduled from 2-4 March 2021 at Feria de Zaragoza, has been postponed to 19-21 October 2021. (November 11th, 2020).
