Aquatech Amsterdam 2019 took place from Tuesday, 5 to Friday, 8 November 2019 at RAI Amsterdam. The world's leading international trade fair for process, drinking and waste water is organized biennial by RAI Amsterdam.

The 4-day event registered around 1000 exhibitors and 22'614 visitors from 147 countries. Together with the "Amsterdam International Water Week", which included interesting conferences and seminars on current issues in the water industry, 27'000 international water professionals joined Aquatech during that week.

Most Swiss companies at the Swiss Pavilion were satisfied with the number of contacts and the amount of interesting project/offer requests, others on the other hand, noticed that the attention of the visitors was mainly on the companies in the main hall 1. The 3 new halls were located in a different part of the venue, so the spatial separation was not very advantageous for the visitor flow. Further, when talking to the bigger companies in hall 1, it was remarkable, that due to high costs and the close schedule of the trade fairs, they are considering to remove the Aquatech exhibition from their fair program list in future in favor of the IFAT trade fair in Munich.

A highlight of the show was the spontaneous visit of HE Heinz Walker-Nederkoorn, Swiss Ambassador in the Netherlands, at the Pavilion. The exhibitors enjoyed his input very much and we would like to thank him and his delegation for taking time to visit us on site.

The next edition of Aquatech Amsterdam will be held on 2-5 November 2021.

We would like to thank Aqua-Innovation GmbH, Dipcom AG, Fimars SA, Fineamin SA, LSM Systems GmbH/ Biogreen-Pyrolysis and rqmicro AG for participating at the Swiss Pavilion at Aquatech Amsterdam 2019!
