The 4th edition of Thai Water Expo 2017 happened from June 7 to 10 at the BITEC – Bangkok International Trade Exhibition and Convention Center in conjunction with the 18th edition of Pumpes & Valves Asia 2017 and the 10th edition of ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2017 (total of 566 exhibitors and 27’531 visitors).

Southeast Asia is a fast growing region with modern industries and very interesting for investments. The fast development and economic growth in recent years are reasons to have a better look at Thailand and its environmental technology market. Thai Water 2017 is part of a series of water and wastewater exhibitions organized by UBM Asia all are focused exclusively on the ASEAN region. After the spectacular Opening Ceremony, where H.E. General Anantaporn Kanjanarat, Minister of Energy, Thailand, held a well received and loudly applauded speech about chances for Thailand to benefit from worldwide ongoing energy developments, we were extremely pleased to welcome him at the Swiss Pavilion.

The 4-day event showcased the very latest technology and equipment covering resources & treatment, systems for sewage, rainwater harvesting, particle separation, removal technology, residual treatment for sludge thickening and more. Altogether, the 2017 event hosted over 1,500 of the world’s leading brands from 35 countries and more than 27,500 trade visitors from multiple industries involving renewable energy and water resources & treatments.

There were also major International Pavilions at the show including the Swiss Pavilion with its Co-Exhibitors Aquaren GmbH/ KMU LOFT Cleanwater GmbH, Beyond Swiss GmbH, LSM GmbH/ Biogreen, SID SA, Straub Werke AG and Wama GmbH.
