The 19th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2017), organised by Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), took place from 23-25 October 2017 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), Dubai World Trade Centre. WETEX showed the latest developments in water, technology and conventional and renewable energy around the world, and featured business opportunities and potential partnerships to drive business.

The exhibition was accompanied by an extensive program of seminars and conferences, providing quality content on current issues as well as demonstrating companies business capabilities in a particular sector. Our Swiss exhibitor rqmicro AG held a well attended presentation about their innovative technology for rapid and quantitative microbiological tests in water and food.

A special highlight was the dinner reception hosted by the Consul General of Switzerland in Dubai and Director of the Swiss Business Hub Middle East H.E. Chris Watts together with his team from the Swiss Business Hub, Switzerland Global Enterprise and the Swiss Business Council Dubai. On the occasion of the Swiss Pavilion at WETEX 2017 all Swiss Pavilion exhibitors and their most important business partners were invited at the Swiss Residence to meet and exchange with members of the local business community.

The whole event was an entire success for the participating companies and proved to be a very good platform for developing business and generating new business contacts.
