Fenasan, the National Sanitation and Environmental Fair, organized by AESabesp, is the largest sanitation fair in Latin America. Co-located with Waste Expo Brasil, an event where Swissenviro has been participating for over ten years, the two fairs aimed to bring together environmental specialists—and they certainly succeeded, with over 34,000 visitors attending during the three-day event. The event's theme focused on environmental sanitation, sustainability, and knowledge sharing.

The Swiss Pavilion was one of the standout features of Fenasan 2024. With three Swiss companies showcasing advanced water management solutions and environmental technologies, the pavilion attracted significant attention from both local and international stakeholders. The Swiss Pavilion served as a key networking hub, fostering potential partnerships and collaborations. Participating companies held productive one-on-one meetings, resulting in promising discussions related to technical cooperation and market opportunities in Latin America.

Fenasan 2024 was a resounding success, providing an invaluable platform for showcasing innovations, fostering business partnerships, and advancing the dialogue on sustainable environmental practices. The event offered ample opportunities for industry professionals to engage with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate on the pressing environmental challenges facing the region. The participation of global leaders, alongside strong representation from local Brazilian companies, made Fenasan 2024 a key milestone in the development of the water treatment and sanitation industries.

The success of Fenasan 2024 lays the groundwork for even greater opportunities in the coming years. With its strong focus on environmental sanitation, sustainability, and the sharing of qualified knowledge—combined with the growing demand for solutions to water scarcity and waste management challenges in Latin America— Fenasan will continue to be an essential event for environmental specialists.

The fair was well attended, with over 34,000 visitors. It addressed critical issues in environmental sanitation, sustainability, and knowledge sharing, positioning itself as a key platform for promoting highly qualified expertise and solutions for the region’s environmental challenges.
